Who had the biggest influence on you growing up?
My family had a tremendous influence on me growing up. I am very fortunate to have had parents who instilled the importance of education and the opportunities that provides. I was also greatly influenced by the strong female role models like my mom and aunts who pursued careers in medicine, the law, and elected positions in the Pennsylvania government. In retrospect, I believe experiencing the women in my life excel in their professional endeavors gave me the confidence to pursue my goals as well.

I really admire a lot of people.

Do you have a favorite charity?
My favorite charity is Dress for Success (https://dressforsuccess.org/). Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization that I have volunteered and donated professional clothing to for many years. The organization supports women who are fleeing difficult situations and abuse. Dress for Success does more than just provide clothing for these women and their families. This organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Let me think
Who had the biggest influence on you growing up?
My parents emphasized the importance of education and using that acquired knowledge to better the future for (wo)mankind. They provided us with the means to get the best education possible and made sure we always gave back to those who were not as fortunate as us.
Who do you most admire?
Malala. I admire her maturity and drive. What she has been able to accomplish at her age is really inspiring.
What is your favorite city you've traveled to?
Rome. The pasta and wine was the best thing I have ever tasted. I was awed by the history of the city and how the architecture took you back in time. It's a magical city.
Do you have a favorite charity?
Although not a charity, the ACLU protects human rights. Everyone should be afforded the same civil liberties despite their nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.

I studied Computer Engineering at the University of Crete in Greece.
There, I realized my passion towards software development very early so I focused on that area heavily. While expanding my skills on programming, I discovered that the web was the most ambitious platform for an application to live in and I specialized in building apps for that environment. Shortly after that, I became keen on interactive Graphics due to the creativity they force and the challenges they pose.
Since I got my diploma I have been working as a remote programmer for various companies for more than 5 years mostly on projects related to the web and interactive graphics.
What is your role in the FUTURE OF JEWELRY team ?
Currently, at "The Future Of Jewelry" I try to bring to life the founders' vision by combining the most cutting edge web technologies in such a way that the final result is user-friendly, practical and useful so we can disrupt the way jewelries are being made around the world!
What are you doing in your free time?
When I don't program apps I make music with my band "the Qualia". My life is divided exclusively between those 2 things.
